SPI/FILMBOX and VOLIA launch Filmbox OnDemand in Ukraine

As a part of SPI’s new digital strategy SPI launches a branded corner called Filmbox OnDemand with Volia.

Global media company SPI International / FILMBOX and Ukraine’s leading telecommunication platform VOLIA are launching Filmbox OnDemand, an online VOD service which offers non-stop, multi-screen access to a film library featuring an impressive selection of American and European movie hits.
VOLIA operates an sVOD service called Volia Cinema which will feature Filmbox OnDemand as a sub-package available to all VOLIA’s customers who have access to Volia Cinema service.

Starting October 12th VOLIA’s customers will also get access to Filmbox OnDemand, an online VOD service which offers non-stop, multi-screen access to a special film library featuring a diverse selection of dramas, comedies, action flicks starring some of the top Hollywood and European actors as well as localized martial arts videos and documentaries.

Among the movies available on Filmbox OnDemand viewers will find LOOPER – a sci-fi thriller starring Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Emily Blunt, another action flick SETUP with 50 Cent, Ryan Phillippe, Bruce Willis as well as a NEW YORK I LOVE YOU presenting a compilation of love stories starring Bradley Cooper, Andy Garcia, Natalie Portman, Orlando Bloom and many others.
VOLIA already carries seven linear channels from the SPI/FILMBOX portfolio including FilmBox HD, FilmBox Arthouse, DocuBox HD, FightBox HD, Fast&FunBox HD, FashionBox HD and 360 TuneBox.

SPI/FILMBOX launches channels on Armenia’s HybridTV

Global TV operator SPI International / Filmbox recently launched seven channels with IPTV operator Hybrid Solutions in Armenia.

The Armenian operator has launched the following channels from the SPI’s worldwide TV portfolio: FilmBox, a basic movie channel with popular films and TV series  FilmBox Art House featuring independent and classic films, DocuBox HD airing documentaries on nature and human civilization, FashionBox devoted to fashion trends and shopping, FightBox HD – a 24/7 combat sports channel, Fast&FunBox HD with extreme sports programming and 360TuneBox – an international music TV network.

FilmBox, FilmBox Arthouse, DocuBox HD, FightBox and Fun&Fastbox HD channels carried by HybridTV are available in two language versions Russian and English.

FightBox channel now available in UPC Romania Sport package

FightBox, the flagship sports channel from the SPI/FILMBOX portfolio, is now available in the UPC Sport Package in Romania. The network’s programing includes Superkombat, the biggest Romanian kickboxing event along with other major MMA galas from Europe and the U.S.

FightBox is a hard-hitting, action-packed 24hr combat sports channel featuring live MMA and kickboxing events from Europe and the U.S. From MMA and boxing to arm wrestling and sumo, FightBox is a compilation of the finest combat sports from around the globe all on one channel. This October FightBox will present Superkombat, the biggest Romanian kickboxing event. DocuBox, FightBox, Gametoon debut on YoufoneTV in the Netherlands

SPI International / FILMBOX is launching three live TV channels with Youfone, an MVNO in the Netherlands.

Starting this week Youfone’s television customers get access to three channels from the SPI’s worldwide TV portfolio. The line-up includes DocuBox - a television channel featuring documentaries on wild life and human civilization, FightBox – 24/7 sports channel which airs live MMA events and diverse martial arts programming; YoufoneTV also presents Gametoon, a brand new interactive gaming channel for millennials. Gametoon features highlights of popular video games, entertainment content from gaming youtubers, video game tournaments (eSports) with million dollar prize pools and much more.


“SPI’s channels on the YoufoneTV  platform are broadcast without any commercial breaks.
