SPI/FilmBox Extends Partnership with Orange Romania

SPI International and Orange Romania have inked a channel distribution deal for SPI’s flagship channel FilmBox. The deal will render the channel available in Orange Romania’s Orange World package, starting on September 1^st

SPI/FilmBox continues to expand its footprint in Romania through a new channel distribution agreement with Orange Romania for its flagship FilmBox channel. As of September 1^st, FilmBox, which reaches over 30 million households worldwide, will be available to Orange Romania subscribers in the operator’s Orange World package.

FilmBox is SPI’s flagship movie channel and offers an extensive selection of entertaining programming including Hollywood blockbusters, world cinema classics, fan favorite evergreens and popular series for a wide audience. The channel features hundreds of premiere titles every year within a well-curated selection of content from world-class distributors. Channel highlights for the month include: Thrilling sci-fi crime drama series Hard Sun, starring Jim Sturgess and Agyness Deyn, comedy Daddy Day Care starring veteran actors Eddie Murphy, Jeff Garlin, and Anjelica Huston, and an exciting German police crime drama series Einstein.

Through this new deal, FilmBox will be included in the operator’s Orange World package. Other SPI/FilmBox channels that are currently available to Orange Romania subscribers include: FilmBox Extra HD, SPI’s premium movie channel that features Hollywood hits with popular stars; DocuBox HD, which broadcasts a collection of award-winning documentaries about different cultures and the wonders of our world; FightBox HD delivers electrifying combat sports live events and multi-discipline mixed martial arts coverage from all over the world, and FashionBox HD provides highly entertaining content on fashion trends and all things style.
