SPI International announced the worldwide launch of the first global Turkish drama channel, Timeless Drama Channel (TDC) during last year’s MIPCOM. Since then, the channel has been rapidly soaring to success, signifying a profound international affinity towards Turkish dramas. TDC brings over 600 hours of fresh content including critically-acclaimed Turkish dramas and movies to 2.5 million homes in 12 countries through 14 operators. One of the fastest-growing drama genre channels in the world, TDC has managed to land a place among the top 25 most-watched channels on platforms where it’s available. The channel plans to double its reach across the globe in 2020.
Since its launch, TDC has secured distribution agreements with 14 international operators, establishing a major presence in the Adriatic, Balkan and MENA regions. Some of the operators that carry TDC in these territories include: Kujtesa and Ipko in Kosovo, Digit-Alb in Albania, A1 Croatia, A1 Macedonia, My-HD and Ooredoo Qatar in MENA, Telekom Srbija and UPC Romania. TDC also continues to expand its footprint across Western Europe through a recent deal with Post in Luxembourg.
