SPI International / FILMBOX and the satellite television services provider Focus Sat operated in Romania by UPC DTH have extended their collaboration offering complimentary access to Filmbox Live online service to all Focus Sat’s customers who subscribe to the FILMBOX channels pack.
A monthly subscription to the FILMBOX Premium Pack allows Focus Sat customers to enjoy six premium movie channels from the SPI/FILMBOX portfolio including FilmBox Premium, FilmBox Extra HD, FilmBox Plus, FilmBox Family, DocuBox HD and FightBox HD. Filmbox subscription also includes access to Filmbox Live, an online streaming service allowing subscribers to watch live-streaming channels and enjoy the Filmbox VOD library with unlimited access to the Filmbox Live multiscreen on-demand service.
Filmbox Live on-demand library contains hundreds of titles including major Hollywood productions such as the Oscar-winning drama DALLAS BUYERS CLUB starring Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto, a crime comedy SEVEN PSYCHOPATHS with Sam Rockwell, Collin Farrell, Woody Harrelson, Christopher Walken andKILL THE MESSENGER with Jeremy Renner (THE BOURNE LEGACY, AVENGERS). In addition to films and videos streamed in HD Filmbox Live also features content in Ultra HD quality.

Global TV operator SPI International/FILMBOX has announced it signed an agreement with Anttention Media, Africa’s digital video and audio streaming platform “VeeTee” to deliver eight 24/7 TV channels and a VOD service to MTN, Africa’s leading telecommunications company through their sister company Edentek.
VeeTee’s mobile TV service now offers the following eight channels from SPI’s worldwide portfolio: FilmBox Africa with movies and TV series, FilmBox Art House featuring independent and classic films, DocuBox airing documentaries on nature and human civilization, FashionBox devoted to fashion trends and shopping, FightBox – a 24/7 combat sports channel, Fast&FunBox with extreme sports programming, 360TuneBox – an international music network and Gametoon, a brand new e-gaming channel addressed to millennials.
In addition to live TV channels VeeTee now also provides MTN customers with access to FilmBox OnDemand which allows users to watch hundreds of movies, popular TV series and various sports, music and lifestyle videos whenever and wherever they want.

Nine channels from the SPI's African portfolio are available on Play which recently took over the Consat service and relaunched it on Astra 2F satellite @ 28.2 E.
The newly rebranded platform has relaunched the entire SPI's TV line-up from Consat including FILMBOX, a movie channel presenting a diverse selection of American and European films as well as TV series, FILMBOX ART HOUSE which lets viewers enjoy the masterpieces of world cinema from the highly acclaimed directors such as Kurosawa, Fellini, Hitchcock, Visconti and many more. Play has also relaunched two sports channels: FIGHTBOX - a 24/7 martial arts network with live broadcast of international MMA events and other TV programming covering more than thirty combat sport disciplines. The second sports channel is FAST&FUNBOX which features coverage of international shows and competitions in such disciplines as car racing (Formula One), motorcross, snowboarding, sailing and many more.
