SPI International extends its Channel offerings to 1st Tier Operators in Africa
New distribution agreement with South African networks strengthens the position of SPI’s channel portfolio

SPI International continues to expand distribution of its channels in South Africa. Telkom, the wireless telecommunications provider, as well as Vodacom, a mobile communications company, will now have full access to SPI’s unique channels for their growing number of TV subscribers. The agreement includes all of the channels from the current SPI portfolio: FilmBox Africa, FilmBox ArtHouse, DocuBox, FightBox, Fast & Fun, FashionBox, 360TuneBox, and Gametoon. 
SPI makes it possible for anyone, anywhere in the world to view high quality content on their local television provider. Starting November 1, 2018, the IPTV OTT platform for mobile devices TV2GO will be operated by CAST-TV/Infinivy SA and will allow its programming to be easily accessible on any mobile device.
“To meet growing demand for TV consumption on mobile devices in Africa we wanted to ensure that Telkom and Vodacom mobile subscribers have access to SPI’s premium content via CAST TV/Infinivy platform in South Africa. We are excited to work with CAST TV/Infinivy and I am sure that South Africa will only be the start of our cooperation” says SPI International’s Amit Karni, Head of Distribution, Africa.

SPI will be attending this year’s DISCOP in Johannesburg, South Africa on November 14th–16th. SPI’s FashionBox and DocuBox Channels Launched on Hotels in the Seychelles

SPI is extending their distribution agreement with Cable & Wireless (Seychelles) Ltd to include the distribution of Fashionbox HD and Docubox HD channels to in-suite hotel viewing in the popular resort islands of the Seychelles.  The two channels are part of the eight SPI International Channels carried by major TV providers, Smart TV platforms and OTT services across Africa.

The agreement with CWS includes DocuBox boasting over 100 hours of unforgettable, fascinating, documentary features and TV programming exploring the mysteries and beauty of our planet. FashionBox HD is the one-stop shop for all things style featuring inspirational, educational and highly entertaining content on shopping, lifestyle and new fashion trends.

SPI International Launches Fast&FunBox HD On Orange Spain

SPI extends their channel distribution in Spain with the launch of Fast&FunBox HD on Orange TV in Spain. SPI International Projects Future Coexistence of OTT and Linear TV at Asia Video Summit Panel

Panel Discussion brings together major players to discuss the advancements in the video industry

SPI International’s CEO, Berk Uziyel, participated in this year’s Asia Video Summit in which the future of the evolving digital video industry was discussed. SPI’s objectives for the new wave of digital video is to encompass a 360° screen video entertainment for a more advanced and interactive experience on all VoD TV platforms to create an engaging community with live events.
