SPI/FILMBOX Channels Group Join UHD Alliance

NEW YORK - SPI International / FILMBOX Channels Group have recently joined the UHD Alliance (UHDA), the inter-industry group charged with fostering the Ultra HD ecosystem and promoting the benefits of Ultra HD entertainment technology.

SPI International / FILMBOX is one of the leading aggregators of native 4K content for the purpose of developing worldwide 4K channels and online apps. Its FUNBOX 4K/UHD demo channel is currently broadcast from the Eutelsat's Hot Bird satellite and is carried by major platforms in Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.
